Welcome to Over Easy! I write a lot, like a lot, and through prayer and discernment, I felt the Lord telling me to use this as an outlet for others to see him. Over Easy is going to be a blog about life, and the way the Lord moves, I pray for this to be genuine and heartfelt when I write, being Spirit-Led and guided by the Word. Now you may be asking, "Who is writing this, and can I trust them?" Well!!! You're in luck!

I am Chey! (Pronounced Shea)! I am a 20 year old living in Virginia, I used to go to Liberty University, but left after my third semester there (yes, you can ask questions). I am married! (I KNOW!) to Will, He is super cool and fun and stuff! I love reading, writing (obvi) hiking, climbing (literally anything being outside), Coffee, and talking with people! I have a cat her name is Vinni, she is my favorite thing ever! I love people, and am definitely a little too enthusiastic sometimes. I am an enneagram 9W1, an ENFP on the Myers Briggs, and if you're into DISC assessments, I am an IS!

Now that you know me, here's what this is all about!

Over Easy, the name, comes from Matthew 11: 28- 30 Where Jesus says "Come to me all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my Yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My Yoke is easy and my burden is light." Jesus can bear our burdens (that's what the cross is for) and that is such good news!

So the name is a double entendre, where His yoke (yolk) is easy (over easy), meaning that we can rest in Him. I hope you come along with me on this journey to see how good he really is, and we can talk about it together!
