(Re) Launch Day!

Hi, Hello, Hola! Welcome to or Welcome back to Over Easy! Today, is August 9th, 2024, which means it is launch, or relaunch day!

Hey! I'm Chey!

Back in April I had the huge idea to start a podcast and blog, as a way of sharing mine and other peoples stories to the internet, and just sitting in those stories. I started, recorded my first episode and then life hit. I was planning a wedding, trying to figure out next steps, and then later, ended up working at a summer camp. So, inevitably, this got put on hold. But, WERE BACK! and better than ever (hopefully.)

These blog posts and podcast episodes will hopefully be in tandem with one another, blog posts probably being more frequent than the podcast (Writing is one of my favorite ways to ignore the world.) But my hope and prayer for this is that you read or listen, and you walk away with something new etched on your heart, whether it be some random bible verse me or one of my guests drops, or something like Gods heart for mission, or even just the simple rule of being kind.

Complete transparency to begin though, I am not perfect, I am human, sometimes I mess up, sometimes I don't say the right thing, most of the time I am purely human (the other times I am a bookworm), so if I say something that is wrong, or you disagree with, or I do something stupid, call me out! I want this to be an open line of communication, so that's why there are comment boxes, email me, DM me on Instagram, send me a carrier bird, I will answer, I don't just want to be the person talking, I want to be friends with you, I want to know you, to love you to cherish you (am I writing a dating profile? I like long walks on the beach....) I want this to be a conversation, I want you to talk too!

So, welcome to Over Easy! A place where we talk about anything and everything, we walk through life together and we get to be friends.
